How To Do An Epsom Salt Flush

Healthy intestines play a crucial role in maintaining a strong immune system that helps eliminate waste materials efficiently before any potential harmful build-up occurs, which may lead to wellness issues down the line.

Always use just PLAIN ole Epsom salt, magnesium sulfate USP. No scents or relaxing oils… you don’t want to ingest that stuff! LOL! Magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide works also, just keep it simple, and follow instructions on the bottles as a laxative.

On an empty stomach or at least 2 hours after the last meal, take 4-6 teaspoons of Epsom salt and dissolve in 2-4 ounces warm distilled/reverse osmosis water. To help with the taste, because it is quite bitter, add FRESHLY squeezed lemon or lime to taste … completely optional. Drink it down at one time. Chase it immediately with 32-40 ounces of plain distilled/reverse osmosis water. You are gonna want to drink a lot of water for this… at least 32 ounces. Get it all down within an hour after taking the epsom salt… the quicker, the better to get the process moving faster and complete. The body will draw the water into the bowels, building up pressure to give you a good drano-like flush. Taking longer to get the water will get the job done but it extends the flush. You can rest for a couple of hours, massaging the belly area before elimination starts and you go running to the loo! 😁 For each of the first three times you go in the elimination session, you can drink another 8 ounces of water for continued flushing, until the stools run clear.

While detoxing on the protocol, it is a good idea to flush every 2-3 days. If the release of toxins make you feel less than stellar, like with headaches, dizziness, or nausea, low energy, you can flush everyday for that time until the body adjusts. If you are working on any detox protocol, don’t stop your protocol doses during this time. Just stay your current levels for the flush day so the body can adjust.

It is best to wait 4-6 hours AFTER the start of the flush elimination before eating (if doing the flush in the morning). As soon as you
begin to eat, the flushing movement will slow down… but the bowels will continue to move with looseness for the day and possibly into the next. Adjust your water intake according to how your body goes through the elimination process… more water, more flushing. If doing the flush before bed, you can resume your normal day feeding schedule the next day.

Many studies, and millions of testimonials around the world, have revealed that Epsom salt can be used to alleviate constipation effectively. Taken internally, Epson salt acts as a detoxifying agent for intestinal cleansing. The magnesium salt acts as a laxative by increasing water in the intestines and bringing about temporary relief from constipation. However, it is commonly warned that Epsom salts should not be used to relieve constipation without the consultation of a physician. To thy own self be true!
