My 15-Year Journey with Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide: An Interview About Self-Healing and Self-Love
I recently sat down to share my personal health journey with food grade hydrogen peroxide (FGHP) - a path that began in 2009 and has transformed not only my physical health but my entire approach to wellness. As someone who now teaches English while slow traveling the world and offering health consultations, I've learned that true healing comes from within, and sometimes the most powerful solutions are hiding in plain sight.

What first led you to explore food grade hydrogen peroxide back in 2009?
I came across FGHP after reading headlines about a book called "The One Minute Cure." While I was already familiar with our daily need for oxygen, I wasn't familiar with FGHP as a health supplement. This was particularly interesting timing for me because I had already dealt with lumps in my breasts a few years earlier without medical intervention. I knew there were many ways to allow the body to heal itself.
What was your health situation like when you discovered this approach?
At the time, I was managing very large fibroids and the excessive bleeding that came with them. I had already switched to an organic vegetarian diet and started using more eco-friendly toiletries - I was already on a journey toward cleaner living. But the fibroids were really challenging my quality of life.
Did you ease into using FGHP or jump right in?
Oh, I jumped right in! After reading the book, I immediately ordered a small bottle of food grade hydrogen peroxide and started with the recommended dose of a few drops. I also began using it around the house for cleaning and disinfecting. I was working as a flight attendant at the time, and I actually carried a spray bottle of 3% FGHP on the aircraft for disinfecting - this was way before anyone was talking about airborne pathogens the way we do now!
What really opened your eyes to the potential of this approach?
I started reading everything I could get my hands on about oxygen therapy. The work of Otto Warburg, Richard King, and Carol Barnes really amazed me. It felt like these incredible benefits of FGHP were hiding in plain sight! What struck me most was how inexpensive and relatively easy it was to use.
What changes did you notice in those early weeks and months?
The changes were remarkable and happened quickly. About 10 days into the FGHP protocol, going into my period, I noticed the usual initial cramping was much less intense. The blood discharge was initially very dark and clumpy - fibroid material coming out - then went to a bright red as my cycle finished. Over several months, my periods shortened from 6-7 days to 4-5 days, and the excessive bleeding stopped completely.
My energy levels went through the roof! I had to be careful not to take any FGHP past the afternoon because it would keep me up. I also lost about 10 pounds just by being more aware of my eating around the FGHP doses. And here's something incredible - I no longer experience the flu. I used to deal with many allergies and asthma, and all of that reversed since using FGHP and developing my full regimen.
Tell me about this regimen you developed - it's more than just FGHP, right?
Exactly! I make a distinction between the basic FGHP protocol and the complete regimen I developed around it. My regimen includes moringa, liquid vitamin D3, fulvic-humic minerals, plus Epsom salt, senna, or some other way to flush the intestines. While some brands have come and gone over the years, the basics have stayed the same.
Over time, I've developed flexibility in the approach to accommodate different lifestyles as I consult with various individuals. Everyone is honored in their own way while still getting what they need from the regimen.
How do you use FGHP in your daily life now?
Currently, I mostly use 3% FGHP from spray bottles. I have spray bottles throughout whatever house I find myself in, in my day bag, especially next to the computer. Once a week or so, I'll take a maintenance drop dose in plain distilled quality water - I prefer ZeroWater brand.
I really don't follow a lot of precautions anymore because I've been handling FGHP for so long. I'm not afraid of an occasional drop on the skin, although I do recommend protective eyewear and gloves if you're prone to spilling.
When did you start helping others with this approach?
I started helping people change their diets back in 2003, as I was changing mine. But specifically with FGHP, I began in 2012, then dove into focused consultations in 2016 after producing some videos about my results and addressing common concerns.
What's the most common concern people have when they first learn about FGHP?
Most people are concerned with the safety of FGHP. Many question the difference between food grade and pharmaceutical grade hydrogen peroxide. Whenever anyone is skeptical, it's probably because they don't have enough knowledge about it. Sometimes, it's plain old fear. It's all good. I'm not here to convince in that way. Everyone has to feel and appreciate this approach for themselves.
Do you have any memorable success stories from your consulting work?
There are so many! One that really stands out: I was introduced to a 70-year-old woman who had been discharged from the hospital after refusing a second chemo treatment. She was told to get her affairs in order. She was in terrible shape - blackened fingernails, unable to sit up on her own. After just 3 weeks on the regimen, she showed up at my door after driving herself 20 miles to my house, walking strong!
Another case was a middle-aged man who needed to address elevated blood pressure and sugar levels. After 5 weeks, all his numbers were considered normal.
What's your overall philosophy about health and wellness?
Self Love through Self Care - that's my foundation. I also want people to understand that as you embark on this journey, things may seem expensive. But you're going to pay for it one way or another. Spend the money on quality organic foods NOW, or pay heavily in medical bills later. It's always going to be cheaper in the NOW.
How would you describe your personality and approach?
I'm naturally curious, a bit adventurous, and can be laser-focused when I set my mind to something. I have to admit that as I get further down this journey of detox and wellness, my intuition has exploded. Clear mind and clear heart, perhaps!
I tend to experiment on myself and will sometimes take higher doses, but only after studying published effects. Sometimes the results have laid me flat on my back in bed... don't do that! In fact, because I do it, no one else has to!
What do you want people to know about embarking on this journey?
I want everyone to really enjoy getting to know and love themselves through their bodies on this journey. Health challenges are actually a fast way to develop that relationship, especially since so many people are dealing with physical issues of some sort.
What's your life like now?
I'm teaching English as I slow travel the world, and yes, I still offer consultations. It's a beautiful way to combine my passion for helping others with my love of experiencing different cultures and places.
Any final wisdom for someone considering this path?
Remember that no one can heal anyone else - we all self-heal ourselves! My role is simply to share information and support people in their own healing journey. Everyone has their own inner wisdom, and sometimes we just need the right tools and knowledge to tap into it.
The most important thing is to approach this with self-love, patience, and respect for your own body's wisdom. Start slowly, educate yourself, and most importantly, listen to your body. It knows what it needs.
